Virginia Baxley

Virginia Artie Kingrey Baxley, 87, of Bladenboro, entered into eternal rest Tuesday, October 7, 2008.



Ms. Baxley was born in Peoria, Il to Hazel Zimmerman and Shirley E. Kingrey, Sr.

Ms. Baxley was preceded in death by her parents, and husband Walter Clayton Baxley, three sons, Robert Earl, Earl Ray and Lyle Clayton Baxley, one daughter, Jean Newman; three brothers, Charles and Howard Kingrey and Shirley Kingrey, Jr.

Ms. Baxley is survived by, one son, Jimmy W. Baxley and wife Jeanette of Chesapeake, VA; six daughters, Betty B. Newton and husband John of Lumberton, Shelby Price of Lumberton, Sandra Tyndall and husband Larry of Lumberton, Rosalie White and husband Charles of Burgaw,Alice Singletary and husband James of Bladenboro, Angela Midyette of Bladenboro and Cynthia Carlyle and husband Don of Bladenboro; three brothers, Samuel Kingrey of Tipp City, Ohio, Wesley Kingrey of Wilmington and Harold Kingrey of Covington, Ohio; 26 grandchildren, 38 great grandchildren and several great-great grandchildren.



The family will receive friends Friday, October 10, 2008 from 5:00 until 7:00pm Bladen-Gaskins Funeral Home prior to service.

The Funeral service will be Friday, October 10, 2008 at 7:00pm Bladen-Gaskins Funeral Home Chapel. With Rev. Joe Foster officiating.

Interment at 11:00am Saturday, October 11, 2008 Lewis Cemetery of Bladenboro.
