Webb Russ

Webb Russ, Jr., age 79 of Bladenboro, died Tuesday, March 24, 2015 at home. He is preceded in death by his parents, Webb Russ, Sr. and Mary Deaver Russ; one son, Dewey Anthony Russ; one brother, Paul Russ; and two sisters, Beulah Hales and Pauline Hewett. He is survived by his wife Gertrude "Trudie" Shaw Russ of the home; son, Shane Russ and wife Katrin of Bladenboro; one daughter-in-law, Connie Lennon Russ; two brothers T.S. Russ of Whiteville and Delbert Russ of Bladenboro; 5 grandchildren, Joseph, Aaron, Jonathan, Joel and Joshua; and 4 great grandchildren, Allister, Gaston, Aiden and Keithan; and many nieces and nephews. He will be missed by his beloved pet, Pebbles.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, March 26, 2015 from 2:00 to 2:45 p.m. at Sandy Grove Baptist Church. Service will follow at 3:00 p.m. officiated by Rev. Jerry Beck and Rev. Charlie Tatum. Burial will follow at Salem Church Cemetery in Clarkton.
