White Pharr Jr.

White “Bo” Pharr Jr., 74, of Tar Heel passed away on Monday, May 23, 2022. He was preceded in death by his parents, White and Gladys Dowless Pharr and his granddaughter, Lori Michelle Pharr. Bo leaves behind his loving wife, Amy Fields Pharr of the home, two sons, Michael White Pharr and Bartholomew Scott Pharr (Julie), two sisters, Julia P. Freeman (Garry) and Jackie P. Hursey (David), and two grandchildren, Shelby Pharr and Chandler Pharr.

The family will receive friends from 5-7 pm on Tuesday, May 24, 2022 at Bladen Gaskins Funeral Home in Elizabethtown. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, May 25, 2022, at the Purdie United Methodist Church in Tar Heel. Burial will follow the services in the Beth Car Presbyterian Church Cemetery in Tar Heel.

Bo was a hardworking, loving man who never met a stranger. He was known to most in the community for his plumbing business. Bo loved his work but when not working you could find him fishing. His genuine love of others and friendly demeanor will certainly be missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
