William Gilmore

William "Sonny Boy" Edward Gilmore, age 73 of Bladenboro, died Saturday, December 27, 2014 at home. He is preceded in death by his parents, Lonnie and Maltida Smith Gilmore and a brother, Adolph Gilmore. He is survived by his sons, Harvey Gilmore and fiance Rose Ivey of Bladenboro, Michael Gilmore and wife Lori of Greenback, TN and Calvin Gilmore and wife Kristi of Maryville, TN; daughter Teresa Gilmore-Sams of Dublin; sister, Jane Long of Garland; 10 grandchildren, Eddie, Tyler, Shaun, Gabrielle, Taylor, Matthew, Shaunia, Hannah, Tiffany, and Emily and 3 great grandchildren, Alexis, Amirah, and Oliver.

The family will receive friends on Monday, December 29, 2014 from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Bladen-Gaskins Funeral Home and at other times at the home of Harvey and Rose at 297 Hickory Grove Ball Park Rd. in Bladenboro. Services will be held on Tuesday, December 30, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at Bladen-Gaskins Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Bladen Memorial Gardens in Elizabethtown.
