William Kersey

William Mack Kersey, age 69 of Clarkton, died Monday, August 18, 2014 at home. He is preceded in death by his parents James and Rachel Kersey; a sister, Linda Kersey; and a brother, Calvin Kersey. He is survived by his wife, Erlene Elkins of the home; two sons, Randy Kersey and wife Lisa of Elizabethtown and Jeff Hilburn of Whiteville; two daughters, Susan Hilburn of Whiteville and Hanna Watts of Clarkton; two brothers, Richard Kersey of Clinton and Ellie Kersey of White Lake; a sister, Kay Holmes of Four Oakes; five grandchildren, Bailey, Alex, Hope, Marissa and Jeffery and one great grandchild.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, August 19, 2014 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Bladen-Gaskins Funeral Home. Services will be conducted on Wednesday, August 20, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at Dublin First Baptist Church with Rev. Cameron McGill officiating. Burial will follow at Bluefield Methodist Church Cemetery.
