Winnie Russ

Winnie Sue Russ, 72, of Wilmington formerly of Elizabethtown passed away on July 23, 2014. She was born on May 6, 1942 to the late Ezra and Leitha Evers Russ. She is preceded in death by her parents and several brothers and sisters.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, July 26, 2014 at 3:00pm at Brisson Cemetery, with Rev. Ellen Bullard officiating.

Mrs. Russ is survived by her son, Gary Tompkins and wife Kim of Shallotte; her daughter, Kitty Odum and husband Bruce of Hampstead; two brothers, Fletcher Russ of Morganton and Curtis Russ of Bladenboro; sister, Emmalee Davis of Clarkton; two grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
