Wright Burney

Wright Burney, 57, of Bladenboro, entered into eternal rest Monday, March 5, 2007.

Mr. Burney was born in Bladen County to Webb and Isabelle Storms Burney.

He is survived by his wife, Catherine Hester Burney, of the home. He is also survived by two brothers, Grady Burney of Bladenboro, North Carolina,and Max Burney of Lexington, Georgia; three sisters, Linda Findley of Madison, Georgia, Nettie Horton of Bladenboro, North Carolina, and Wanda Singletary of Bladenboro, North Carolina; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation is planned for Wednesday, March 7, 2007 from 7:00 until 9:00 p.m. at Bladen Funeral Home.

The funeral will be Thursday, March 8, 2007 at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel at Bladen Funeral Home. Rev. Boyd Britt will officiate. Burial will follow the service in Hester Cemetery, Bladenboro, North Carolina.
