Karen Townsend

Karen Kay Cannady Townsend, 64, of Bladenboro passed away Saturday, August 27, 2022 at her home. She was born May 27, 1958 to the late John Cannady and Dorothy Davis Cannady. She was also preceded by nephew, Shaun Perkins.

Karen leaves behind her husband, Grant Townsend of the home; three sisters: Juli Perkins and husband Kenny, Donna Cannady and Kenna Cannady; nephews: Ian Perkins (Karen), Ty Perkins (Taylor), Steven Perkins, Dakota Perkins (Kristal); great-nephews: Grayson Perkins, Landon Perkins, and Jameson Perkins.

The family will receive friends from 6-8pm on Monday, August 29th at Antioch Baptist Church in Lumberton. A funeral service will be held at 4pm on Tuesday, August 30th at Antioch Baptist Church with Pastor Blake Dodd and Pastor Mark Meadows officiating. Burial will follow in the Singletary Cemetery in Butters.
